Hasta la vista pits! Arnold Schwarzenegger fills hole in LA street after weeks of damage to cars and bikes amid local services inactivity

The Terminator has traded his shotgun for a shovel.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen in a social media clip on Tuesday literally taking to the streets to fill a problematic pothole that was a pox for the neighborhood.

“Today, after the entire neighborhood was upset about this giant pothole that has been ruining cars and bikes for weeks, I set out with my team to fix it,” the 75-year-old community action star wrote in the post.

The Austrian-born star, who served as California’s 38th governor from 2003 to 2011, said he would rather address the issue head-on than grumble about it.

“I always say, let’s not complain, let’s do something about it,” he said. ‘Please.’

“You have to do it yourself – this is crazy – I waited three weeks for this gap to close,” the Hollywood star told a driver who slowed down to praise him for his efforts.

In the clip, Schwarzenegger wore black sunglasses with a brown leather jacket, black top, black sweatpants and brown work boots.

He was later seen on a bike ride enjoying the Southern California spring weather.

Schwarzenegger’s efforts come amid a recurring problem of damaged potholes in his native Los Angeles after prolonged winter storms.

Officials in Los Angeles have said so CBS LA last month it received more than 1,300 requests for pothole repairs in one week.

Authorities said Los Angeles residents needing repairs should call 311 or use the app MyLA311 to report areas in need of care.
