Although the $799/£799 device comes in five never-before-seen colors and an improved rear camera, some claim it lacks the developments they were hoping for.
Battery life and screen size are included, with the iPhone 15 having the same 6.1-inch display and video playback capacity as the iPhone 14.

One of them also tweeted: ‘Apple has made no mention of battery life on the iPhone 15 Pro models, which is quite disappointing considering how much attention has been focused lately on battery deterioration the iPhone 14 and the general malaise about the longevity of the phones.”
The criticism comes after months of speculation surrounding the iPhone 15, with numerous fake products and predictions flooding the internet.
Many of them rightly suggested that Apple’s new device would feature a state-of-the-art titanium design, made from the same alloy used to build NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover.
Apple claims this will make the model more durable and lighter compared to previous models.
It was also expected that the mute switch would be replaced with a customizable ‘action button’ – this is the first time Apple has changed this since 2007.
And it was also expected that the Lightning connector would be replaced with a USB-C port, as Apple had to reluctantly adapt to the new EU regulations.
But ‘Name Drop’ was one of the more surprising features, allowing users to share contact information by simply bringing two iPhone devices together.
Onlookers still say that the physical appearance of the iPhone 15 is almost the spitting image of an iPhone 14.
Both the iPhone 15 and its predecessor have 6.1-inch screens and weigh just over 170 grams, with a battery capacity that allows for 20 hours of video playback.

Both devices also include 12MP TrueDepth front cameras (f/1.9) with autofocus capabilities, although the iPhone 15’s rear camera has been significantly upgraded.
“Oh damn, it’s the iPhone 12! I mean 13! I mean 14! I mean IPHONE 15. There’s no way I could have told the difference,” one X user wrote.
Another chimed in: “I watched the Apple event and there is no difference between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 #AppleEvent.”
Someone also said, “I’m a die-hard Apple fan and iPhone 15 is so lame. I’ll skip it and wait for the iPhone 16.
‘This should have been called iPhone 14.2. This was not enough to earn the ’15’.”
