Harry Styles ‘is legally required to take part in the New Zealand census’ when he tours next month despite only being in the country for a few days.

Harry Styles is set to bring his ‘Love On Tour’ to New Zealand next month.

But the British singer will have an additional obligation on top of his sold-out concert, as the New Zealand government confirms he will have to take part in the country’s census.

The 29-year-old Watermelon Sugar hitmaker will perform at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland on March 7, the same night as the New Zealand census.

According to the official census Twitter account, Styles will have to complete the national survey despite only being in the country for a few days.

New Zealand magazine Coup De Main first posed the question via Twitter, asking census organizers if Styles, a British citizen, needs to participate since he technically resides in the country on census night.

‘Important question for @2023census: Will @harrystyles also have to do the census on March 7 with the rest of New Zealand?’ asked the post.

‘Kia prays @coupdemain CC: the country. Thank you for this important consultation’, responded the Twitter account. @census2023.

“This is one of the most disgusting traditions I’ve ever witnessed,” Harry said, before taking a swig from his $1,170 Adidas x Gucci shoe.

He has been wearing different colored versions of the shoe for almost every performance since the start of his ‘Love On Tour’.

‘I feel like a different person. I feel ashamed of myself,’ he said after the shoe.

‘It feels so personal. Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people. I will discuss this with my therapist in depth.
