Harry Styles has invested ‘a minority stake’ in one of his favorite menswear designers – SS Daley – so he can afford to ‘hire staff’ and ‘relaunch his direct-to-consumer website.’
The British pop star – who turns 30 next month – has already teamed up with the 27-year-old British tastemaker for his 2020 Gold music video, in which he wore the FW/20 ‘Floral Sebastian Trouser’.
“When it came out, he completely broadened the spotlight for me. There was a huge acceleration in my orders. And it just escalated from there,” SS (born Steven Stokey-Daley) said. Fashion on Thursday.
‘It happened very organically. One of the nice things is that Harry approached me and kind of made it clear that he was a fan of what we do. And of course I’m a big fan of his.’
The Liverpool native won the 2022 LVMH Young Designer Award and the British Fashion Council Foundation Award for Best Emerging Designer.

SS presented its FW/24 collection on Thursday at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy during Pitti Immagine Uomo 105.
Daley’s latest line – titled ‘Elliot’s Room’ – is inspired by the 1935 love story of two University of Oxford housemates.
