Harry Styles looked completely unrecognizable after shaving off his famous locks while attending U2’s show at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, this weekend.
And after images appeared of the 29-year-old star’s buzzcut TMZsocial media users rushed to X (formerly known as Twitter) to comment on his new hairstyle, which many described as “unhinged.”
Some even compared the move to when Britney Spears infamously shaved her head for the paparazzi in 2007.
“To everyone posting the photo of Harry Styles with his shaved head: please stop hurting me emotionally, mentally and physically,” one person wrote.

The English heartthrob debuted his new hairstyle on a date night with his girlfriend Taylor Russell, just days after rumors swirled that he had chopped off his luscious curls.
While out and about with 29-year-old Russell and a group of friends, the three-time Grammy winner was spotted without his signature hairstyle as he listened to the Irish rock band perform their biggest hits.
During the concert, Styles put his arm around his lover and reportedly spent the night exchanging “lots of little kisses” and taking selfies together, according to TMZ.
At one point, their group of friends danced in a circle “towards the end of the night.”
After gossip site DeuxMoi shared an image of Styles’ new look, some fans started wondering if his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift had something to do with it.
Harry and Taylor had a brief romance between 2012 and 2013, during which time she wrote her album 1989, with fans long speculating that some of the songs were about their romance.

Last week, Taylor released the re-recorded version of her album, which includes the song Now That We Don’t Talk (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault). The second verse references Harry’s decision to grow his hair after their split.

On one of the new songs, Is It Over Now, Taylor takes a swipe at a former partner for being a “lying traitor” and sleeping with a string of models after they broke up.
On another new song, called “S**t!”, Taylor sings about the public backlash she received for dating an unnamed heartthrob, with many speculating it could be Harry.
