Harry Kane’s round of golf in Australia was disrupted on Wednesday when a fight broke out between a pair of kangaroos just yards from the Tottenham star.

Kane, 29, is on a pre-season tour Down Under with the Spurs side, with Ange Postecoglou looking to implement his attacking style of football in a bid to drag the North Londoners back into the Premier League table.

The England captain has spoken publicly about his love of golf in the past and, following Tottenham’s 3-2 defeat to West Ham in Perth, took to the course this week for a relaxed round with teammates.

Still, he was momentarily distracted when two kangaroos collided in his neighborhood as he lined up a shot on Wednesday.

He posted a clip of himself looking somewhat stunned at his Instagram page next to the caption: Golf. Australian style.’

Kane played the opening 45 minutes of Tottenham’s defeat to their London rivals, with the Englishman’s future still up in the air amid strong interest from German powerhouse Bayern Munich.

He still has one year left on his contract, but despite growing noise around his future, Postecoglou insisted his striker remain committed to the club.

“There are a lot of people who know Harry better than I do, but nothing will put him off,” Postecoglou said. “He’s here and while he’s here he’s totally committed to what we do.

‘That’s how I’ve seen things. As for me, it has no impact on me at all. No one has spoken to me from Munich. If other clubs want to talk about our contracted players, it’s more of a problem for them than for us.’

Postecoglu spoke for the first time since Kane returned to Tottenham training last week and they sat down for a chat.

“Just a good conversation,” he said when asked how it went. “Nothing earth-shattering or defining. I introduced myself and we mostly talked about the club and where he thinks it stands, and where he thinks we can improve things.

“It was more about the collective and what we do. Me and Harry were perfectly attuned to each other, we want to see a successful team this year.’
