Harry Kane’s first day at Bayern Munich as the £100 million English star flies in a private jet, hops on the stationary bike during his medical and declares ‘I love it’ as he puts on his new club’s shirt for the first time!

Harry Kane’s whirlwind first day playing for Bayern Munich included medical tests, photo shoots and interviews after landing in Germany on a private jet.

Bayern took us behind the scenes as England captain Kane completed his £100m move from Tottenham Hotspur on Friday and Saturday.

The video shows Kane landing in Bavaria on a private jet and emerging from the plane wearing sunglasses after finally getting the green light from the Spurs to fly and complete his move.

Kane smiles as he is driven into town, speaking of his “excitement in experiencing this new city.” He admits he has made a few appearances in Munich for Spurs and England but never had the chance to actually explore.

The 30-year-old grins as one of dozens of Bayern fans gathered to welcome him yells ‘Welcome to Munich’ as ​​the car arrives at the club’s training ground.

He was an integral part of the negotiations with Tottenham’s formidable chairman Daniel Levy that secured the prolific England star’s signature.

Kane holds up a Bayern shirt with ‘2027’ printed on the back, signifying the four-year contract he has agreed, poses for photos and gives interviews to club media.

“Bayern Munich is one of the biggest clubs in the world,” says Kane. “Throughout my career I want to keep improving and keep pushing myself to be the very best.

“I felt like it was the right step in my career to really push myself and test myself at the highest level.”

Kane was able to wear the shirt on the pitch for the first time on Saturday evening when he made his debut from the substitutes’ bench against RB Leipzig in the DFL-SuperCup.

However, it was far from the debut Kane envisioned as Bayern were thrashed 3-0. Already two goals down when he came on, Kane hit the ball just three times in 27 minutes of action.

As Kane’s quest for a first career trophy progresses, his new coach Thomas Tuchel felt the need to apologize.

On leaving Spurs for a new challenge at Bayern, Kane said: “I’ve always wanted to push my limits and see how far that could take me.” I want to fight for the Champions League, I want to fight for titles. I look forward to that challenge.
