Harry Kane will start for Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen on Friday, Thomas Tuchel confirms
Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel will unleash Harry Kane from the start in tomorrow’s Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen.
Kane Mania has gripped the football community here in Bavaria following Tottenham Hotspur’s sensational £100 million transfer.
The striker made his debut in last weekend’s German Supercup defeat to Red Bull Leipzig, coming on as a late substitute just hours after his transfer was confirmed.
But Tuchel says he intends to give his new striker his full Bremen debut on Friday night.
“If nothing special happens today, he will start,” said the former Chelsea boss.

My first impression of Harry is fantastic. He is a top professional and his quality is outstanding. He’s a fantastic human being.
“He’s very open, he’s the first on the training pitch, open in the dressing room, he made an immediate impression in the dressing room with his personality, his approach to football, his love for the game.
You feel it, you feel it every day. You feel it in every exercise, every little exercise is on point.’
Friday’s game kicks off at 7.30pm BST in Bremen.
