According to one report, Harry Kane was banned from the Tottenham training ground in the final hours before his £100 million transfer to Bayern Munich.
The striker made the move to Germany in arguably the most significant transfer of the summer, ending his nearly 20-year spell with the Premier League.
It was unclear for a while whether Kane would leave Spurs or perhaps even sign a new contract, but Daniel Levy eventually signed off the transfer and the England captain departed.
And while Kane waited to fly to Germany to finalize his move, he was reportedly stopped from entering the Spurs training ground in London before his departure.
According to the Telegraphthe club wrote in an email to Kane that it would not be appropriate for him to return to the ground before completing the move to Munich “to feel a new pressure of having to win titles”.

It is said that the decision meant that the club’s all-time top goalscorer was not given the chance to say goodbye to staff and teammates or collect his belongings, instead having to wait for them to be sent to him.
His family also reportedly had no access to their suite at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The move seemingly contrasts with Spurs’ position that the attacker is welcome at the club at any time despite his departure.
Kane continued to give his all for Tottenham despite ongoing negotiations with Bayern Munich over the summer, and he did the same when Spurs received bids for his services from Manchester City two years ago.
Kane reportedly wanted to continue training in case the move fell through, but this was deemed inappropriate
He is said to have since said goodbye to Tottenham players and manager Ange Postecoglou on the phone
He reportedly considered signing a new contract with the club at one point this summer if he was not allowed to move, but his priority has always been to go to Bayern.
It is said that the 30-year-old wanted to train with the club for their first game of the season against Brentford, but was told it would not be appropriate to do so before the move.
Reports indicate that Kane had not made it clear that he wanted to part ways, but was keen to continue training in case the move didn’t happen.
It is believed that new manager Ange Postegoclou and the Spurs players have since parted ways with Kane over the phone.
