Tottenham star Harry Kane has reportedly suspended talks over a contract extension with the club until after the World Cup in Qatar.
Kane, 29, has yet to renew his current contract in north London, which expires in the summer of 2024 and has recently been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Man City.
And the latest news won’t do much to calm Spurs fans’ nerves after Kane decided to postpone extension talks until after the tournament ends in December.

It remains to be seen if Antonio Conte can convince the England skipper to join Spurs . to stay
According to the Evening StandardKane would only be focused on finishing half the season with Spurs before leading his country in Qatar.
The 29-year-old is considered one of three players the North London side hopes to tie into a new long-term deal.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Eric Dier are the other two players likely to be rewarded this season for their consistent performances on the side of Conte.
The Danish midfielder has probably started negotiations on a new deal, while Dier is also waiting until after the World Cup next month.
The trio have become crucial parts of Antonio Conte’s Spurs squad, having missed just one Premier League game as a collective.

Tottenham talisman Kane has less than two years left on his current contract and was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City last summer, but Pep Guardiola’s side was unable to meet Spurs’ asking price.
Kane tried to force a move to the Etihad after refusing to show up for Spurs training, but returned to north London following the appointment of Antonio Conte.
In July, Bayern stepped up the hunt for England’s talisman when Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann spoke at a press conference about his interest in Kane.
He could score a lot in the Bundesliga. I don’t know the price, but it’s really hard for Bayern Munich. We’ll see what happens in the future,” Nagelsmann said.
Spurs boss Conte fired back: “Honestly I haven’t heard this. Sure, I’m a coach who doesn’t talk about other players in other teams. Maybe it’s a bit disrespectful to the other club. This is my way of dealing with other players.’

Kane has scored 10 goals in 12 Premier League appearances this season and helped Conte’s side to third in the league table.
He also scored one goal in the Champions League, which came as a penalty during their trip to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 29-year-old thought he had doubled his European number for Wednesday’s campaign against Sporting Lisbon, but saw his 95th minute overruled by VAR.
The English skipper will be in action on Saturday afternoon when Tottenham travels to Bournemouth in the Premier League.
