Harry Kane continued his incredible goalscoring form in Germany with another two strikes on Saturday as Bayern Munich secured a 4-2 win against Heidenheim.
The England and Bayern striker struck twice in the first half to put the home side in control against an opponent looking to stay in the German top flight this season.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are now one point clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, with themselves and Bayer Leverkusen the only two sides still unbeaten in the competition.
Kane’s latest efforts take him to 17 league goals for his debut season in the division, with the 30-year-old starring since his £100million move from Tottenham in the summer.
His stellar form means Kane broke the Bundesliga top scorer charts last season as Niclas Fullkrug scored a total of 16 goals.

Kane’s two-goal haul on Saturday also saw him retain his place at the top of the current Bundesliga goalscoring rankings, although Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy is just two goals behind.
The first goal at the Allianz Arena on Saturday saw Kane give his side an early lead with less than 15 minutes remaining when he struck from just inside the penalty area.
Kane controlled a vibrant pass from Leroy Sane, turned with two touches and blasted home the opening goal with thunderous effect.
He had to wait 30 minutes for his next goal, with Kane then rising highest in the penalty area to direct a header past Heidenheim goalkeeper Kevin Muller.
