Harry Kane scores a world free-kick to open the scoring for Tottenham after seven minutes against Brentford… in what could be the England captain’s last home game for Spurs

Harry Kane hit an absolute belt from a free kick in the opening minutes of Tottenham’s home game against Brentford – in what could be his last home game for Spurs.

The England captain broke the deadlock for the hosts at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just over seven minutes into Saturday’s Premier League encounter.

Spurs are trying to continue their race for a European finish, but much uncertainty remains over Kane’s future at the club.

BT Sport Football posted the video of the goal with the caption: ‘Harry Kane with a rocket. Just a sensational free kick from the Spurs captain opens the scoring!’

Kane currently assumes the Tottenham captain’s armband in the absence of usual armband holder Hugo Lloris.

Some reports suggest that Kane plans to complete his contract with Tottenham Hotspur before leaving on a free transfer next summer.

But the club may also listen to offers to sell him this year. While Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has insisted he would not sell Kane to an English rival, Manchester United remain the firm favorite to sign the 29-year-old in the off-season.

Another report suggested that Kane’s representatives had met with PSG chief Luis Campos to discuss a move to the French capital this summer.
