Harry Kane has admitted his children are learning German faster than him and have taken up skiing as his family settles into Bavarian life.

The England captain is already proving his worth to Bayern Munich with an astonishing return of 27 goals in 26 games since joining from Tottenham last summer.

But Kane and his family – wife Katie and children Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry moved from London a few months ago – have fully embraced their new country.

“They’re in school now and have been skiing the past few weekends,” Kane said The guard.

“It’s great for them to have that. We met some parents at school and made friends with teammates’ wives and children.

‘Slowly but surely it’s starting to feel like home. People ask what the big differences are, but much of the routine is much the same.

“You miss friends you have at home or a golf course, but you quickly learn those things here and it becomes part of your home.”

Although Kane, as £100million star striker, is not allowed to go skiing, he is happy to see his children on the slopes.

He added: “I haven’t been there yet, but I want to check them out. They love it. They will also speak the language before me.’

In addition to wearing lederhosen, the traditional Bavarian dress, and holding beer mugs at Oktoberfest, Kane has not only joined his Bayern teammates but also been exposed to other traditions.

In the Guardian article, he is mobbed by hundreds of happy fans while visiting the Kirchweidach branch of the Bayern fan club in the Bavarian Alps.

During Kane’s visit, he sings along to Bavarian chants, flavors the soup according to the tradition of bridal couples in the region and plays a curling-like game with liter beer glasses instead of stones.

Kane, 30, and his family have moved to a £30million hilltop mansion in an area dubbed the ‘Beverly Hills of Bavaria’.
