England captain Harry Kane was left with blood pouring from his mouth after colliding with Italy’s Rafael Toloi during their Nations League game on Friday.
Kane, 29, collided with the Atalanta defender seven minutes after the restart when he went for a header in a corner in the second half.
Doctors were quick to come to the rescue of Kane, as he appeared to be in a lot of pain.
However, after the usual medical checkups to make sure it wasn’t a more serious injury, the Tottenham player was able to continue his involvement in the game, a pivotal game in England’s Nations League campaign in a bid to avoid relegation.
England lost the match 1–0 due to Giacomo Raspadori’s 68th minute strike.
