Harry Kane gets to work on new multi-million pound mansion

Harry Kane is getting started on a new multi-million pound mansion with a spa, golf course and nature center 15 miles from Chelsea’s training ground (but hasn’t bothered to build a trophy room!)

He recently splashed out on a multi-million pound mansion just 15 miles from Chelsea’s training ground, sparking speculation he could be looking for another club when his Tottenham contract expires next year.

Harry, 29, currently lives in North West London with his wife Kate and three children and bought the property on the edge of Wentworth Golf Course in Surrey in September 2021 for £6.65 million.

Now plans for his luxury home have been revealed, with the English captain looking to demolish the current main house, pool house and garage to create his ideal three-storey abode.

In scheduling requests seen by The sundoes the star striker plan to include his and her changing rooms, along with a glamorous room and lavish spa with an infrared sauna on the ground floor.

There will also be two en-suite bedrooms for staff and four families bedrooms with private dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms.

Keeps him busy: his wildlife-friendly garden backs onto Wentworth Golf Course, but the keen sportsman also has a golf simulator in his home

The football player’s home had to comply with Green Belt planning, but the home will help local wildlife by including a bat enclosure and bat boxes.

His nature-friendly garden borders Wentworth’s golf course, but the keen sportsman also has a golf simulator at home.

The sprawling abode will also include a room dedicated solely to his football boots and a room for his coats, but he hasn’t bothered to plan a trophy room.

The footballer has yet to win any major accolades for club or country, but a bidding frenzy is still expected when his contract with Tottenham expires.

The north London club have turned down a £60 million bid from Bayern Munich, while Manchester United also continue to circle in their hunt for a new centre-forward.

However, according to The TelegraphChelsea have also been warned that Harry is currently building a new family home near their training ground in Cobham.

Chelsea do not appear to be in the running to sign him this summer, and Tottenham are unlikely to approve a sale to their London rivals at any cost.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Kane heading into the 2023-24 season, with Bayern and United both vying for his signature this summer.

Mail Sport previously announced he would be open to joining the German club, who are expected to return with a second bid after their first bid was rejected.

They believe Harry would accept a move to Bavaria, although Tottenham remain adamant their talisman is not for sale in the summer term and are looking for an offer between £90m and £100m.

However, their opening bid falls well below that valuation, meaning a much-improved second bid is needed to entice Spurs into a sale.

He prefers to stay in England and try to break Alan Shearer’s long-standing Premier League goalscoring record. He currently sits on 213 goals, with Shearer still well out front on 260.

Still, there is a feeling that one day he might be able to return to his homeland and break that record, even after a temporary move abroad.
