Harry Kane looked back at his full Bayern Munich debut and revealed the key differences between the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

The England captain got off to a perfect start in his first game in the German top flight, registering a sublime assist in just four minutes.

Kane flicked the ball into Leroy Sané, who ran for goal before calmly finishing to put Thomas Tuchel’s side ahead.

In the second half, Kane scored his first goal for the club before being substituted shortly afterwards.

Speak against Sky Sports after the game, the former Tottenham striker opened up about his dream debut: “It was fantastic. There’s been a lot of talk and build up about this game. It started well early with the goal. It was heavy.

“We created some good chances, but missed the final product.

“We stayed calm, scored the second goal and the boys finished it from the bench. It was the perfect start, I’m looking forward to the next game.’

Kane continued, explaining why he believes his Bayern Munich teammates can get the best out of him this season.

“We’ve seen my game, I like to drop deep and link in the last four or five years,” he added. “I think with the pace we have in this team it works perfectly.

“I’m a number 9 first and foremost, so I have to get into the box and run forward. I’m really happy, we have a fantastic team and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
