Harry Kane is confident he will finally break his long-standing trophy curse in the near future and believes he has yet to reach his peak at the age of 31.
Kane will still win an important piece of silverware for club or country after losing a number of finals, having stumbled over the final hurdle at the 2020 and 2024 Euros with England and in the 2019 Champions League with Tottenham.

‘But I start every season with the aim of winning collective trophies and I am not satisfied with being distinguished only at an individual level. Now I will tell you that I am only 31 years old. Once upon a time, at that age, it started to be the end.
‘The current state of affairs is that we almost reach our peak at the age of thirty. And I think the best Harry Kane is yet to come. I have a lot of confidence in that.
“And I am confident that the second part of my career, which begins now, will be rich in major trophies.
“And when I hang up my boots, it’s no longer a problem.”
Kane was also pressured to win silverware during the 2024 European Championship with England and responded with equal optimism.
“I’m extremely proud of what I’ve achieved so far in my career, but I also know that of course I want to show trophies for that,” said Kane.
‘I feel like I’m at a real peak in my career and hopefully that will be the case especially over the next four or five years. So there will be opportunities, starting this summer and again next year with Bayern Munich.
