Izzy continued, “We rushed to the hospital…Lockie’s pH levels in his eyes were 8 and they had to be 7.
‘It took me all night to flush out Lockie’s eyes with 22 liters of fluid before the pH finally dropped.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to the ER nurses who have shown incredible dedication and kindness, not only to Lockie but to me as well.
‘As you can imagine, it was quite horrible having to watch Lockie through that, he doesn’t like having his hair washed, let alone having to lie there for ten minutes for every liter of fluid.
‘We are now being closely monitored because his right eye has been injured by the chemicals. However, we are in the best hands and I am so grateful to the specialists.
‘Little Lockie is such a determined and courageous little boy.
“So please, please keep cleaning products high and completely out of reach. This was my most terrifying moment as a mother, I am so sorry for others who have experienced these types of terrible accidents.”
The NHS advises that if you get a strong chemical, such as oven cleaner or bleach, in your eye, you should go to A&E or call 999 and continue rinsing your eye with water while you wait for medical help.

During McFly’s performance this month to celebrate the band’s 21st anniversary, they released Busted to reveal the exciting news.
Busted said: ‘Now here tonight we challenge you to the ultimate showdown, next year, 2025 Busted Vs McFly the tour. The challenge is yours if you choose to take it.”
The two 1990s bands explained how they will compete to be crowned the best during a 14-date tour.
Busted’s James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis said: ‘The whole tour is about finding out who is a better band. Fans can decide. They can come and cheer on their band and maybe they’ll change their minds. It will be a fight to the death.”
Matt continued, “It’s been a long time coming, this tour. Fans have wanted this. There’s a huge crossover among the fanbases, but secretly I think everyone likes Busted more.’
McFly – made up of Harry, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter – previously joined forces with Matt and James to form McBusted, releasing a Top Ten album and touring the world.
But the super band broke up when Charlie decided to rejoin Busted, ten years after he quit.
