Harry Garside reveals on I’m A Celebrity that he has split with The Amazing Race’s Ashley Ruscoe

Olympic boxer Harry Garside has revealed he is no longer in a relationship with The Amazing Race’s Ashley Ruscoe.

He dated the boxing and martial arts instructor for over 18 months, but revealed on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! that they are no longer together.

Harry, 25, told his fellow camp mates: ‘I think I’ll stay single for a while, I’ve got a few more years to mature’.

The sports couple had a high-profile relationship and they were often photographed by paparazzi, and they attended the GQ awards together last November.

Speaking on The Imperfects podcast last July, Harry said he tried to be mature in his relationship with Ashley as she is nine years older than him.

“I’ve only been in two relationships before I met her and I was fucking hopeless in both, just so young and so ignorant,” he said.

“I really struggled before meeting her in relationships and I put in a lot of work because I let people in and when they leave I feel super abandoned and scared.”

He added at the time, “I’m a little bit younger than her and I’m just doing my best to be mature for a 24-year-old, I’m doing my best.”

Ashley, 33, started dating Harry after splitting from her boyfriend and teammate on The Amazing Race, Sidney Pierucci, in November 2019.

She said that they broke up shortly after completing their trip around the world.

She told TV Week that while filming The Amazing Race had caused tension between them, it wasn’t the only reason for their split.

“Sid and I have a great relationship; we just decided not to continue our romantic relationship,” she said.

“I knew we would collide and we did. But we mostly managed to bounce back.”

Sidney and Ashley were billed as ‘The Bondi Influencers’ on The Amazing Race, referring to the fact that they have a combined 33,000 followers on Instagram.
