Dressed Aussie boxer Harry Garside insults police on social media for his fashion sense as Olympic star awaits next step after domestic violence charge
Harry Garside has shared the abuse he committed online, with trolls lashing out at the Australian boxer for his fashion sense.
Garside, 25, recently showed off his style wearing an Armani skirt to the GQ Man of the Year Awards and has spoken openly about his desire to support “individuality” and “uniqueness” in people.
However, he faced backlash for his fashion choices and shared a series of messages sent to him on Instagram.
“I’d love to bash your goddamn head in,” one message said.
“Meet me at the bar you little ****.”
Daily Mail Australia chose not to repeat the other insults.

“I honestly believe that as a society we should support individuality, uniqueness and the herd that supports that, rather than the herd that supports people who feel they need to conform and be like everyone else,” Garside said recently.
“I think as an adult you realize that having a different uniqueness is actually a superpower, but when you’re younger you feel the need to conform.
‘During my childhood I had the feeling that this should not be too different, otherwise you will become isolated.’
Meanwhile, Garside’s boxing slot remains unclear after reports suggested he could be banned from competing in Paris 2024 after allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Ash Ruscoe.

No team has yet been chosen for the 2024 Paris Games, but Garside – who was the first Aussie to win an Olympic boxing medal in 33 years – looks set to be a shoo-in for selection.

Another condition is that team members must not be ‘convicted or charged with a serious crime involving violence, alcohol or drugs, or a sexual offence’.
A spokesman for the AOC told News Corp: “As the matter is before the courts, it is not appropriate for the AOC to comment, except that Harry Garside has not yet qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics – nor is he still nominated or selected. ‘
