Harry Brook loses wicket in BIZARRE fashion after lucky escape in the Ashes

Harry Brook loses his wicket in BIZARRE fashion as Australia breathes a sigh of relief after Travis Head dropped the England man in a painful moment

Travis Head breathed a sigh of relief after his botched catch went unpunished in the first Ashes Test.

Harry Brook, who had hit Scott Boland the previous ball for four, skied the next pitch towards Head.

The batter sprinted from the boundary, lunged forward and got both hands on the ball, but somehow let the cherry slip from his hand in embarrassing scenes for the tourists.

But the tears soon turned to cheers when Brook was wrapped up bizarrely.

Facing Nathan Lyon, the ball hit his thigh pad, shot into the air and crashed into the stumps.
