Harry and Meghan’s new home for their new Hollywood chapter? Couple are eyeing up $18m Malibu home a stones-throw away from new Kardashian friends as they prepare for imminent relaunch after week of high profile A-list hangouts

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have visited the site of an $18 million ocean-view estate in Malibu, fueling speculation that the couple may want to leave Montecito and move their family closer to Hollywood and their new Kardashian friends. want to move.

The couple visited the location over Labor Day weekend, sources said TMZ.

Currently it offers little more than a plot of land – worth $8 million – with a swimming pool already built and plans for a modern 10,000-square-foot property that would cost $10 million to build.

Harry, 38, and Meghan, 42, have lived in their nine-bedroom, $14 million mansion in Montecito since 2020.

The 18,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home features rose gardens, ancient olive trees, a tennis court, teahouse, children’s cottage, and swimming pool, as well as a two-bedroom guest house.

Other locals include Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Ariana Grande, Gwyneth Paltrow and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

But the house is 80 miles from Hollywood — about an hour and a half drive — and speculation has surfaced in recent weeks that they could be moving soon.

The Malibu lot is just 25 miles from Hollywood, or a 45 minute drive.

And it’s only 15 miles from Calabasas, where the Kardashians live. Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, was photographed at a charity event with Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner.

The Malibu site already has a guard house, which protects the long drive to where the main residence will be built.

The property, perched above Broad Beach and the Pacific Coast Highway, will feature a striking, state-of-the-art main building with large windows and stunning ocean views, according to the renderings.

Brendan Brown, of Westside Estate Agency, owns the property’s ad and promoted it on Instagram last month.

“Incredible development opportunities for Malibu – RTI ready with plans from award-winning architect and foundation underway,” he wrote.

“Located directly above PCH and overlooking Broad Beach, this unparalleled lot offering the most extreme privacy is being offered for $8 million.”

He said the site is 5.26 acres, with 360-degree views of the ocean.

“Completely enclosed for privacy and security,” he added.

And one step closer to Hollywood would help both on their difficult road to media stardom.
