A chilling 911 call reveals what may have led to the horrific murder-suicide of a wealthy Utah couple.

Olin Johnson, 57, of American Fork, shot his 52-year-old wife, Kerilyn Johnson, to death in their $1.5 million home last month before turning the gun on himself.

One of Johnson’s six children was the one who found their bodies and called 911. The eight-minute call shed light on the cause of this shocking tragedy.

The caller first says, “I think my dad killed my mom, but then he committed suicide.”

When pressed for details, he adds that “there’s been a lot of drama in the household lately. Just in the last four days.”

Their social media pages testify to a rich life in which they spent a lot of time with their children, some of whom were married.

An obituary for the couple said: “While we are dealing with immense sadness and grieving the loss of Kerilyn, our beautiful mother, daughter and sister, we also grieve for Olin, despite his actions.”

A GoFundMe campaign has been started to help the six siblings.

The description on the page reads: ‘It is hoped that they will not be faced with the financial burden of funeral costs and other unexpected expenses in the coming weeks and months.

“The love that many feel for this family is immense.”

Olin posted a chilling final message on Instagram before shooting his wife and then killing himself.

Just a day before the murder-suicide, he captioned a photo: “No matter how bad I am, motorcycles always love me. Oh, and skiing. Skiing loves me too.”

Olin was seen wearing his helmet on his Triumph motorcycle, one of his favorite hobbies.

Two of his children immediately responded to their father’s post.

“You are not a worthless person. You are the best father in the world,” wrote one of his sons, Dillon Bay.

“I love you, Dad, and I think it’s awesome that you taught me how to be a tough guy and ride a motorcycle!” Savanna added.

Police rushed to the scene of the family’s sprawling home last month after reports that two people had been shot after another family member found the bodies.

“Based on the investigation, it appears Olin fatally shot Kerilyn before fatally shooting himself,” American Fork police said in a statement.
