Harrison Ford films the second season of 1923 in Montana after a long delay due to the actors’ strike
Harrison Ford was spotted on the 1923 set stepping into his character Jacob Dutton while filming the second season of the Western drama on Sunday in Montana.
The 82-year-old Indiana Jones star – who recently celebrated his wife Calista Flockhart’s 60th birthday – could be seen standing on a snow-covered sidewalk as he shot a scene in the cold weather.
Ford wore a dark blue double-breasted jacket that buttoned at the front, as well as olive green pants.
The actor also donned a plaid shirt and a scarf underneath while donning a pair of blue shoes.
As a finishing touch, Harrison added a brown hat on his head, while a shiny silver sheriff pin was placed on the left side of his jacket.
Last year, in February, the Paramount+ prequel to Yellowstone was officially renewed for season two – after the series debuted with 7.4 million viewers.

New stars will also join the original cast, such as Augustus Prew and Dexter alum, Jennifer Carpenter.
Plot details for the upcoming season have remained under wraps as the show is still in its development stages.
During an interview with The cover Last year, Harrison thought about taking on a leading role in the prequel series.
He explained: “Both Helen and I signed on at some point without a script and Taylor Sheridan produced that script while I was making this latest television project,” referring to the show Shrinking.
“We’re both very happy with the outcome and the characters that were created and the opportunities that those characters presented.”

While speaking with the outlet, Ford discussed how he was a fan of Yellowstone before 1923.
‘I admire something Kevin [Costner is] doing. I’ve always admired him because he’s a great actor and has had a fantastic career.”
Ford continued, “But it was more important to me to spend the time I had watching 1883. I really wanted to be rooted in the experience of a family’s history down to the point.”
“I haven’t spent that much time watching the most contemporary version of the Dutton family.”
During an interview with TermSheridan opened up about casting Ford and Mirren – and also having them do more than one season.
‘They were excited. They originally only signed for one season. They wanted so badly to continue with it,” the writer said.
“Harrison made a comment at one point: ‘Taylor, I think I’m making the best thing I’ve made in 20 years.’

Last month in October, Harrison revealed that he has no plans to retire from acting and explained his decision.
“I get essential human contact out of it,” he explained. ‘I can imagine that there are people with a lot of skills and experience. It’s fun to work with these people.’
And in June last year he reflected further on why he liked to step in front of the camera in his early eighties.
“I’m not doing well if I don’t have a job,” Ford said Variety. ‘I like to work. I like to feel useful. They’re my Jones. I want to be helpful.’

The Blade Runner actor added: “It’s the people you get to work with. The intensity and intimacy of collaboration.’
“It’s the combined ambition somehow forged from words on a page. I don’t plan what I want to do in a scene. I don’t feel obliged to anything. I’m naturally influenced by the things I work on.’
In addition to the second season of 1923, Harrison has other projects to his name, such as Captain America: Brave New World, which will be released next year in February 2025.
He took on the role of the Red Hulk – aka Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross – alongside Anthony Mackie, Seth Rollins and Rosa Salazar.
