Harrison Butker risks wrath of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce fans with his new friends in latest photo
Controversial Chiefs star Harrison Butker got into a fight with conservative commentators Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly on Thursday night.
The 29-year-old Kansas City football player, who sparked outrage among liberals earlier this year over his personal religious and political beliefs, was in attendance at Carlson’s live show, featuring special guest Kelly, at the city’s T-Mobile Center.
After the show, which was part of Carlson’s first-ever national arena tour, the Super Bowl winner went backstage to meet media personalities.
They even commemorated the moment with a photo of the conservative trio, shared to the host’s Instagram and reposted to the NFL player’s story.
Butker’s meeting with his “friends” came just a day after Kelly launched a scathing attack on Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce.

The former Fox News host slammed Swift after the Pop star, 34, publicly supported Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, after her debate with Donald Trump78, on Tuesday evening.
Kelly claimed the singer and her tight end boyfriend Kelce, also 34, were “the epitome of elitist snobs” who didn’t really care what happened to American children because they were too busy “flying around the world” and “sitting in their mansions.”
The media personality went on to criticize the Grammy Award winner as “disgusting” for her statement – which was shared with her 284 million followers on Instagram – and claimed the hitmaker and NFL star was “too obsessed with their money” to focus on the growing problems in the country.
“You can forget about selling to the Republican public, Taylor. I hope you enjoyed them when you had them,” Kelly said.
In her lengthy Instagram post, Taylor promised to “make sure she reads and educates herself on everything she can find” about Trump and Harris’ “proposed policies and plans for this country.”
She said she planned to vote for Kamala because she believed the 59-year-old “fights for rights and causes that I think need a fighter who can defend them.”
She also praised Kamala’s running mate Tim Walz for “decades of standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and women’s right to their own bodies.”
Butker has stirred controversy this year with his own views on women’s and LGBTQ+ rights.

In her lengthy Instagram post, Swift praised Harris’ running mate Tim Walz for “decades of championing LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s right to control their own bodies.”
He sparked outrage when, a few months after helping the Chiefs to a second straight Super Bowl victory, he told female graduates of Benedictine College they should be “more excited” about the idea of becoming wives and mothers instead of successful professionals.
He later reiterated the views he had expressed in his speech, refusing to deviate from his positions as a devout Catholic.
He also faced criticism for speaking out against the LGBTQ+ community and President Joe Biden over his stance on abortion. A petition asking the Chiefs to cut him from their roster eventually garnered nearly 240,000 signatures.
Last month, he implored JD Vance, Trump’s running mate and by proxy the former president, to engage the Republican Party on its position on abortion.
Kelce has defended Butker before, but the kicker’s latest stunt could threaten the peace within the Chiefs camp.
Shortly after his girlfriend voiced her support for Harris, it was reported that Kelce would soon make a shocking election announcement of his own.

Kelce has not commented on his girlfriend’s statement of support, but it is being suggested that the NFL star shares a similar view.
“Well, you know, I find the Taylor Swift rumors interesting because a couple days ago I heard that Travis Kelce also reached out to the Harris campaign when it was first announced and said he wanted to be there that night. [Kamala] “spoke,” CBS’s Gayle King said at the DNC last month.
It’s not the only political divide that could stand in the way of the Chiefs’ back-to-back wins this season, after it emerged that Swift and her best friend Brittany Mahomes – the wife of quarterback Patrick – also fall on opposite sides of the American political spectrum.
Brittany, who has been married to the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback since 2022, caused a liberal meltdown last month when she liked a social media post by Donald Trump.
The close friends’ opposing political views have led to fears about what this could mean for their budding friendship.
Yet despite the controversy, Brittany and Taylor managed to dispel any rumors of animosity when the Mahomeses attended the US Open alongside the singer and Kelce on Sunday.

A source exclusively told DailyMail.com that they ‘respect their different viewpoints’ and made a ‘pact’ not to discuss politics last month. The couple appeared nothing but friendly as they enjoyed the action on the pitch.
Meanwhile, Mahomes himself played the role of peacemaker, giving a measured response when asked about his own political stance earlier this week.
“I don’t want my platform to be used to support any candidate — no matter what — I use it to get people to register, do their research and make the best decision for themselves and their families,” the quarterback told reporters on Wednesday.
“Every time I get these questions, I come back to this because I think that’s what makes America great.”
