A former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader sounded off about kicker Harrison Butker in light of his controversial graduation speech.
Butker’s May 11 speech at Benedictine College sparked backlash for his sexist and homophobic comments. In addition, Butker took aim at US President Joe Biden over his support for abortion.
On Thursday, Stefanie Hills — who cheered for the Chiefs from 2018-2024 — took to TikTok and fired back at the kicker while dissecting his inflammatory statements.
Referring to Butker, Hills implored people to “stay in your lane,” saying, “Bruh, take your own advice. Kick some balls around. Stay in your damn lane.”
“I guess we have the same PR training,” Hills said after pointing out that she had cheered for Butker six years in a row.

“The biggest benefit is that you now represent a billion dollar organization, you are now no longer just Harrison Butker, you are now Harrison Butker playing for the Kansas City Chiefs,” she continued. “And anything you say or do that doesn’t fit that brand will be grounds for termination. I’m not entirely sure if that last part will apply to you, but I guess we’ll find out.’
Hills went on to detail Butker’s comments on abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia and COVID — the latter of which she claimed Chiefs told employees they were not allowed to discuss publicly.
“You know, we had a whole damn PR training on COVID, man,” Hills said. “We weren’t supposed to talk about it.”
Since the speech gained momentum, Jonathan Beane, the NFL’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, said Butker’s views are not aligned with the NFL’s values. However, the league and Chiefs have yet to make a statement on the matter.

‘Harrison Butker gave a speech in a personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization,” Beane said Wednesday. “The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusivity, which only makes our league stronger.”
Hills continued to inflame Butker’s statements by calling members of the LGBTQ+ community “deadly sinners” and claiming that the greatest title a woman can have is that of a housewife.
“The gays love football,” she claimed. “We don’t want to lose them as an audience, so you might want to reconsider calling them deadly sinners.”
“You know we’re not going to unpack this from a PR standpoint,” Hills continued, referencing Butker’s comment about the Housewife. “But I do want you to know that the Kansas City Chiefs offer a therapist with 100% coverage.”
“Both husband and wife, and I recommend that you should probably work that out with both professionals.”
