Harley Davidson V-Rod in Nowra swears at policeman over indicators complaint
Intense moment when Harley rider unleashes foul-mouthed tirade at cop issuing a ticket for his turn signals – but does he have a point?
- A police officer has fined a motorcyclist for his turn signals
- The motorcyclist unleashed a vicious tirade at the police officer
A motorcyclist has launched into a vicious rant against a cop who fined him for having indicators he claimed were too hard to see.
The Harley Davidson V-Rod driver was pulled over by the officer at a gas station in Nowra, 100 miles south of Sydney, with footage of the heated argument shared on social media.
The video shows the officer crouching in front of the bike before rocking back and forth to show how he couldn’t see the turn signals when he was directly behind it.
“Here’s my problem with it, this one [indicators] far enough apart,’ the officer told the man.
“But if I were here, I can’t see the left turn signal and whether I’m here.”
A motorcyclist in Nowra filmed himself cursing at a NSW police officer as he watched the bike’s turn signals (pictured, the officer behind the bike)
The police officer was then cut off by the angry driver who asked, “Well, what the hell are you doing so close behind me?” [sic] then bike you stupid bastard.’
The bike’s owner then went to where the officer was standing and continued, “You don’t park your car there and watch those damn flashers over there.”
‘You’re back, clown. You can clearly see the blinders from behind, asshole.’
The police officer walked away from the man and back to the bike for another inspection as the irate rider continued his tirade.
“Sunday eight past eight, I’m going for a ride and you’re bothering me,” said the rider.
Despite his colorful language, the majority of the more than 1,600 commentators supported the motorcycle owner for calling out the policeman.
Commentators under the video agreed with the driver that the cop (left) was too close to see the bike’s turn signals properly
“Man has a point,” wrote one commenter.
‘Good [he’s] not bad,” said another.
“Legend!” added another.
“All perfectly valid points in my opinion,” wrote a fourth person.
But others called the foul-mouthed diatribe inappropriate and said police should be given more respect.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police for comment.
