A massive search has been launched for a missing businessman who has disappeared near the infamous cliff suicide spot where conwoman Melissa Caddick was last seen.
Entrepreneur Harish Palagummi, 43, disappeared from Christison Park in Vaucluse in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Tuesday. He hasn’t been seen since.
Daily Mail Australia understands he left his office in Sydney’s CBD at about 3pm. His car was later found parked in the seaside park, high on sheer cliffs that plunge down into huge waves crashing on the rocks below.
The location is close to Caddick’s $7 million Dover Heights mansion where she was last seen leaving, after the corporate watchdog, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, raided her home in a $20 million fraud investigation.
She was never seen alive again and three months later, in February 2021, her foot washed up on a remote beach near Tathra on the NSW south coast.

Mr Palagummi, a venture capitalist and CEO of online grocer Geezy Global, last spoke to a family member around 7.30pm on Tuesday before disappearing.
“When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers from the North Shore Police Area Command were notified and began an investigation into his whereabouts,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Police and family say they are concerned about his well-being.
He is described as being of subcontinental Indian appearance, about 6 feet 8 inches (182 cm) tall, of slim build, with short black hair and a thin beard.
He would be wearing blue jeans and a business shirt is known to visit the Linfield and Vaucluse areas.
