Hanna and Haley Cavinder’s agent reveals TikTok twins will begin WWE training THIS SPRING

A week after the Cavinder twins Haley and Hanna announced they would be waiving their fifth and final season of college basketball, their agent has revealed that training for a new career in WWE will begin in the coming weeks.

The Miami pair, who rose to fame during the Hurricanes’ Elite Eight run on March Madness, are already worth nearly $2 million in several NIL endorsement deals.

And now, according to their agent Jeff Hoffman, the twins will begin training this spring at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

“The potential – which could be – I think they would be excited if that kind of opportunity presented itself for them to become main features in the WWE,” added Hoffman. “WWE fans give the twins such positive comments, feedback and energy.

“The WWE has a very specific training process. They don’t just fit people into storylines and say, “Please.”

“The twins are DI athletes. They’re extremely fit, healthy, training constantly, but there’s also a process in training to make sure you understand not only movement, but safety.”

They have been playing basketball since they were six years old, but it seems that the future is far from the game

“We love the WWE,” Haley said last week. Their fanbase, their sport, the fitness side of it.

“It fits Hanna’s and mine’s brain and suits us well. So yes, we are very excited about the future with them.”

While there’s reason to believe that Hoffman’s words about the twins’ athletic background will ease their transition into professional wrestling, there’s also just as much reason to believe it won’t be a success.

One of the main reasons for this is the fact that neither twin has any prior wrestling experience before deciding to join forces with the world’s largest wrestling company.

WWE has a long history of signing athletes who weren’t good enough or didn’t want to continue their current sport and trying to turn them into wrestlers despite a lack of previous experience with mixed results.

A well-known example of a well-known college star who had a recent unsuccessful transition to WWE was former University of Minnesota NCAA Division I Wrestling Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson.

Despite his deep experience as an outstanding amateur, he has only made a handful of appearances since signing with WWE in late 2020 and has since decided to return to the amateur wrestling world with a view to competing in the 2024 Olympics.

As late as March, Stevenson stated in an interview that he was nearing his WWE debut and was just waiting for the company to call him with something to do.

A similar situation has been felt by many WWE superstars and is likely something the Cavinder twins will face if they progress far enough within the company.

At the same time, however, the struggles of a more qualified WWE hopeful like Steveson doesn’t mean all hope is lost for the twins, as other recent celebrities with little to no wrestling experience have been wildly successful in recent years.

Chart-topping performer Bad Bunny has had several successful WWE matches, as has YouTuber Logan Paul, and both have proved light years more impressive than expected for someone with so little experience – Paul in particular.

While the twins are nowhere near the same level of star power as Bunny and Paul, their athletic background offers hope for similar success.

There’s also a strong possibility that unlike the actual celebrities, the twins won’t benefit from the same level of fanfare if they actually make it to WWE’s biggest stage.

Neither twin brother blew anyone away with their stats from their final seasons, hampering the chances of fans remembering and applauding their time in Miami.

Haley averaged 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists per game despite playing an average of over 30 minutes per game, while Hanna’s numbers absolutely plummeted to a career low of 3.8 points, 1 .3 rebounds, 1.6.
