A celebrity party in the Hamptons over the Fourth of July weekend reportedly descended into chaos after a bouncer punched a “demanding rich girl” as she tried to enter the party featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
Several people lined up to get into the party thrown by hospitality guru Richie Akiva at tech mogul David Rosenberg’s Bridgehampton estate on July 6 after the entrance gate was locked. Page six reports.
An anonymous source told the newspaper that one of the women became aggressive and “went after the girl with the clipboard and hit her.”
“She jumped on her and the clipboard girl pushed her away to defend herself.”
Another witness described the scene as follows: ‘A rich girl was demanding.
People were reportedly eager to attend the Bridgehampton party, which was hosted by hospitality guru Richie Akiva
Also in attendance at the party was newly single Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader
“She was fighting to get in with the door girl,” the source said. “She was getting in the girl’s face and either hitting her or pushing her and the door girl was hitting her in the face.”
The witness said police eventually arrived on the scene and arrested the girl who tried to enter the party, but it took “a while” for officers to “figure out who to handcuff.”
“She was arrested for assaulting the door girl,” the witness told Page Six.
Meanwhile, others reportedly tried to sneak into the party, which was also attended by celebrities including Tobey Maguire, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and NBA star James Harden, by slipping through the bushes.
But “the people who had climbed through the bushes to get in were covered in mud,” an anonymous source said.
Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly helped a drunk man at the party
It was set to be a spectacular sight, with rapper ASAP Ferg performing and DiCaprio reportedly helping a drunken partygoer.
“At one point Leo picked up a drunk guy and put him by a pole and the guy literally fell over,” a bystander previously told Page Six.
Leo reached out his hand to [the pole] so he wouldn’t fall and said, “Stay there.” The man listened to the movie star and “continued to hold the pole,” the site said.
