Hamilton Hill crash: Perth motorcyclist loses control of his bike and smashes into the front wall of a home
A motorcyclist and his partner are lucky to be alive after their bike veered off the road and plowed through a brick wall before landing in a front garden.
Extraordinary CCTV footage captured the moment a man, 31, lost control of his bicycle and smashed through the stone ledge at the front of a house in Hamilton Hill, Perth’s south, on Friday morning.
Upon impact, you may see debris and rocks flying.
The man ended up on the footpath while his girlfriend, also 31, who was riding as a passenger, was thrown over the steering wheel in the collision and landed several meters on the front lawn.
The man writhes in pain on the sidewalk before he sees his girlfriend lying there motionless and unconscious on the grass.

The man screams for help as residents and passers-by rush to their aid.
“Please help, oh my friend, please, please,” he said.
“Can you just make sure she’s breathing, please.”
Several neighbors came to the couples aid, assuring the man that she was breathing and waited with them for paramedics to arrive.
Resident Yvonne Marchant described the scene as ‘quite traumatic’.
“I just said just keep breathing, the ambulance will be there soon,” she told Seven News.
‘It felt like they were having a fun day out together, just enjoying the day.
“It was early in the morning and this happened.”
The passenger flew over the handlebars of the bicycle and lay motionless on the front lawn of a Hamilton Hills home as her boyfriend, the driver, called for help
Paramedics treated the pair at the scene for serious injuries before taking them to Royal Perth Hospital.
They are in stable condition in hospital.
The street remained closed for most of the day while major crash investigators figured out what went wrong.
The investigations continue.
