Halsey took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to update their fans on the results of an endometriosis procedure they underwent.
The 29-year-old singer, who uses they/them pronouns, was pictured donning vertically striped pink and white pajamas, with a diaper strap and multiple bandages visible.
The Grammy-nominated artist captioned the image, “In diapers again, but at least they have little bows.”
The Edison, New Jersey-born entertainer mentioned their doctor and thanked them for performing the procedure amid their health struggles.
“Thank you to my queen @drthaisaliabadi for your unparalleled care and brilliance,” the singer, whose full name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, added in the caption.

Halsey then posted another message on stories that read, “Endometriosis gang.”
The musical star has opened up publicly in the past about their battle with endometriosis, which according to the Mayo Clinic‘is an often painful condition in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus… grows outside your uterus.’
The Without Me artist appeared on TV show The Doctors in 2018 and opened up about living with the condition.
“Reproductive diseases are so frustrating because they can really make you feel less of a woman,” the singer said. ‘It often happens that you sit at home and you feel so terrible about yourself.
‘You’re sick, you don’t feel sexy, you don’t feel proud, you don’t feel like there’s much hope. Hopefully I have a bright future and can achieve the things I want to achieve.’
Halsey said on the show that they suffered a miscarriage after their diagnosis.
“Before I could even figure out what that meant for me and what that meant for my future, for my career, for my life and for my relationship,” they said. “The next thing I know, I was standing on stage in the middle of my concert and having a miscarriage.”
The Bad at Love artist, in conversation with We weekly in 2018 credited those around them for helping them on their health journey.

“I have male managers in my life,” Halsey said. ‘I’m surrounded by men all the time.
“There were times when I was bleeding through my clothes or I was sick and it got to the point where I had to look at everyone around me and say, ‘You know what? That is something that is a reality for me and you. I have to suck it up and deal with it.”
The Nightmare artist added, “I’m not going to let you shame me for this. We’ll get through this.’
