Jack Vidgen recalls the terrifying and surreal moment when a gang of trick-or-treaters threatened him while he was home on Halloween.
The singer, 25, explained on Instagram how a group of kids knocked on his door asking for lollipops, but he didn’t answer because he had nothing.
“Okay, so I now live in a house, not an apartment,” he told his 82,600 followers.

“Children are coming to my door and yelling ‘trick or treat’ all the way, and that’s all right. I don’t answer. I don’t have any sweets, I’m going out to eat.’
One just yelled, ‘Open that damn door! I know you’re home!’ What?!’ he added with a startled laugh.
However, the Voice star didn’t seem too impressed with the comments, probably because it’s not the first time he’s been targeted by trolls.

Last month, he lashed out at a social media bully who accused him of having “no facial expressions” after his numerous Botox injections.
“Oh my god, Jack. You have a great voice, but no more facial expressions,” the troll wrote.
Jack jumped on his Stories and said, “Sorry, where’s the faceless expression?” before squeezing his face into various expressions.
One just yelled, ‘Open that damn door! I know you’re home!’ What?!’ he said in shock
“The Botox has worn off, pop. Just don’t comment. Just leave it at the nice voice part or f**k off,” he added.
This Halloween, the Australia’s Got Talent winner dressed up as a sexy princess, complete with a sparkly dress and tiara.
Jack shared a photo of his appearance on Instagram and shared an iconic quote about the haunted holiday from the teen comedy film Mean Girls.
“In the real world, Halloween is when kids dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In Girl World, Halloween is the only day of the year where a girl can dress up as a total slut and no other girls can say otherwise,” he wrote.
