Hallmark Stars Patti Murin and Colin Donnell welcome their second daughter and reveal her name

Hallmark Stars Patti Murin and Colin Donnell have become parents for the second time.

The 42-year-old Broadway star and 40-year-old Arrow actor shared the good news on Instagram with some candid snaps after welcoming their second daughter earlier this month.

Patti — who announced in October she’s expecting a second child — posted a photo of the happy family from her hospital bed, revealing the little ones’ adorable name, which may have been inspired by a Gilmore Girls character.

“Welcome to our sweet, sweet Lorelai Grace Donnell,” Patti wrote. “She was born on April 2 and was so lovingly received by her big sister Cecily.”

“We’re over the moon, feeling great, and we’re taking a lot of naps, too. Love love love ♥️’ she added.

The couple are also parents to daughter Cecily, who is almost three.

Colin also wrote on his own Instagram, “We welcomed Cecily’s (and Petey & Milo’s) younger sister Lorelai Grace into our lives this past week.”

“I have a very full heart and many happy tears have been shed. Biggest thanks to @pattimurin for these lovely gifts.’

Patti made her new mom shine in the no-makeup snaps, smiling brightly as she enjoyed being a mother of two.

In another Instagram post, Patti hilariously compared her newborn to actor Andy Samberg, with a side-by-side comparison.

“Observations from a full week of parenting two children,” she wrote in the caption.

“I cried a lot more for my toddler and her feelings than for the newborn. Finding Nemo is an absolutely traumatizing movie and no postpartum parent should be exposed to it in any way. My baby looks like Andy Samberg [shrugging emoji.]’

Meanwhile, Donnell told People to be a girl dad again: “I really enjoy being a girl dad. I grew up with all the boys in my family, I’m one of three boys, and of course it would have been ecstatic to have a boy, but I don’t know – I think I’ve got this girl-daddy thing invented by now. So I’m ready to have another girl in the house. I just love it. It’s so, so sweet.’
