Addressing her audience of nearly nine million people, the 58-year-old actress revealed some of the cosmetic changes she made to become a character, including fake armpit hair.
The first clip of the carousel post shows Halle sitting in a makeup chair with makeup and effects artist Norma Patton-Lowin nearby.
“So what’s going on here, Norma?” Berry asked. ‘What have you done? What did you do there, Norma?’
Norma giggled with the screen siren about “the things I do to you,” while the actress also highlighted her eyebrows and temporary tattoos.
‘Thank you Halle for letting me push your character to the limits! “I really enjoyed working with you to create Momma,” Patton-Lowin commented on the post.
Other outtakes showed the Catwoman star with short, wispy blonde hair and face-framing bangs.
In two images, she put on a busty display in a low-cut denim halter top over a magenta bra.
The sleeveless look exposed her ink-covered arms as she posed in the BTS photos.
Halle even went topless in a racy selfie as she exposed her toned abs and used her arm to cover her breasts.

In late August, before the film’s release, Berry teased in a social media caption, “Would Mom ever lead you astray? – in theaters on September 20.”
A synopsis for the film describes her character as a “protective mother” of twin boys whose “only protection” is “their home and the protective bond of their family,” according to People.
The synopsis continues: “Because they must stay connected at all times – even tying themselves with ropes – they cling to each other and urge each other never to let go.
“But when one of the boys wonders if evil is real, the ties that bind them together are broken, unleashing a terrifying fight for survival.”
Another selfie showed the chameleon-like artist with a mop of long, stringy dark brown hair

The film, starring Anthony B. Jenkins and Percy Daggs IV as the twin brothers, was directed by Alexandre Aja.
Earlier this year, while attending CinemaCon, Berry discussed using a “little bit of Method acting” to embody the role of Momma.
She said her character was “eating bugs and frogs — raw frogs — in the woods,” and that she “really had to skin a squirrel,” according to People.
“These things really challenged me to create a reality in this world that felt so strange,” the longtime actress said.
