Halle Berry opened up about Marie Claire about her strict wellness rituals.
The 58-year-old actress, who has stated that she is not afraid of getting older, told the publication that she now feels “better and stronger” than she did in her younger years.
She credits her youthful appearance to red light therapy, regular exercise and a sugar-free diet.
“Age is just a number they put on us at birth,” she told the magazine, adding, “I feel like I’m at my peak now.”
To maintain her health, Berry takes “a cocktail of vitamins and supplements,” plus progesterone, testosterone and estriol.

The silver screen siren also uses hot and cold treatments to balance her health.
And for years she has relied on personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas to stay fit for her demanding film roles.
While working on the boxing film Bruised, she practiced jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and Taekwondo.
Berry, who has had diabetes since her early 20s, said she no longer has any interest in sugar.
“Sugar is the enemy,” she said in the magazine profile. “You can’t just put something sweet in front of me and pay me to eat it. I’m just not interested.”
The Catwoman star also discussed the challenges of growing older in the entertainment industry.
As women we are defined by [age] “Much more than men do and sometimes it can weaken us,” Halle mused.
She confirmed, “We need to kick that in the face and say, ‘No, I’m going to do what I can do as long as I feel good about it!’ And it’s going to be whatever I want it to be. I get to define that.”

The mother of two said: ‘So when that [beauty] ‘When I start thinking, it’s maybe the first time in my life that people focus on other aspects of me that I find much more interesting.’
She added: ‘It’s an exciting time for a rebirth. It’s not a time to pack up. It’s a time to ask, “Now that I’m free, what can I do?”‘
On her birthday on August 14, she shared an up-close selfie on Instagram, showing off her smooth and clear complexion.
