Halle Berry proudly showed off her natural beauty by going makeup-free in a new selfie she uploaded to her main Instagram page on Thursday.
The Oscar winner, 56, has been cast alongside Angelia Jolie in an upcoming Warner Bros. action thriller, was featured in a pink ensemble with a plunging neckline edged in black lace.
The Monster’s Ball actress held up her smartphone in the reflection of a mirror and tilted her head slightly as she paused for the photo.
In the caption, the mother-of-two wrote to her 8.4 million fans and followers, “Mirrors… the most honest friend there is,” followed by a white heart emoji.
Her short locks were combed messily, with a few blonde strands falling easily down her forehead as she flashed a small smile to the camera.

She accessorized her look by adding a dainty pair of gold earrings that added a flashy touch to the overall look.
While talking to Mary Claire earlier this year in February, the actress opened up about her signature look.
“I don’t think I have one,” the Golden Globe winner admitted, adding, “I know I’ve gone to a more natural look.” I’ve realized that less is more and less is best when you’re walking that path in life.”
She continued, “So I’ve gotten in touch with just taking care of my skin, staying healthy, exercising, and following my natural path,” revealing that these days, she tends to “wear very little makeup…”
However, Halle is a successful Hollywood star and tends to stop at glitzy events and get enchanted, but still strives to “keep it as natural as possible,” explaining that “in real life, I’m kinda makeup free these days, I think it worked for me.”
The star, who maintains a productive fitness routine to stay healthy and in shape, is no stranger to the world of glamor and beauty.
Before breaking into television and film, Berry competed in beauty pageants, most notably being a runner-up in 1986 for Miss USA, and placed sixth for Miss World that same year.
Halle has also focused on keeping up with her health, due to heart conditions that run in her family and being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

The mother of two, daughter Nahla, 15, and son Maceo, nine, shared Harper’s Bazaar that her lifestyle had changed after her diabetes diagnosis in 1989.
“Being diagnosed with diabetes, that was an aha moment that changed my whole life,” the Catwoman star admitted.
“That’s when I got really committed to making fitness, exercise, and nutrition a real part of my life.”
Halle has still paid most of her attention to her acting career, which not only earned her an Oscar and a Golden Globe, but also an Emmy win.

While the details of the movie have been kept under wraps so far, a source informed the outlet that the premise is similar to a “Bond vs. Bourne’ movie and will be directed by Roseanne Liang.
The actress has a lot of experience when it comes to the action genre and has appeared in movies like Die Another Day (2002) as a Bond girl, John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum, and also in the X-Men franchise.
Berry, who launched a health and wellness website titled rē•spin in 2020, also enjoys family time when she’s not busy on set, and has been dating singer and Grammy winner Van Hunt since 2020.
