Halle Bailey celebrated the end of her press run for The Little Mermaid by lovingly hugging her boyfriend, Darryl Grandberry Jr., in a video shared on her TikTok account on Thursday.
In the clip, the 23-year-old performer ran into her partner’s arms and kissed him multiple times while a song of Beyonce singing “I’m glad to see my man” played in the background.
The hitmaker, who recently disguised herself while attending a screening of the Disney film, also penned a short message in the caption of her post that read, “On my last day of press like..”
Bailey and Grandberry, also known by the stage name DDG, were first spotted together at an Usher concert in January last year.
The happy couple then revealed their romance to the public through a post shared on the former’s TikTok account last March.

The singer and rapper then made their red carpet debut at the 2022 BET Awards.
Bailey recently spoke to People and started talking about being in a relationship at a young age.
“I think the best thing about young love is that you can continue to find yourself on this journey of loving someone else,” she said.
She added, “You’re discovering new parts of yourself and maybe things you didn’t notice about your heart before.”
When asked if Grandberry Jr. if her prince charming could serve, the actress said, “Yes. I would say so.’
Bailey is currently celebrating the success of The Little Mermaid, which was released in the United States on Friday.
The film serves as a live-action adaptation of the classic 1989 animated film, which was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name.
In addition to the singer, the cast of the live-action version of the film was supplemented by artists such as Melissa McCarthy, Daveed Diggs and Javier Bardem.

The feature has grossed $185 million worldwide in the days since its release, according to Box office Mojo.
