Halle Bailey and babydaddy DDG give their son Halo a Ferrari for his first birthday
Halle Bailey and her ex-boyfriend DDG put on a united front for their son Halo’s first birthday on Sunday, where they gifted him a bright red Ferrari.
The 27-year-old baby daddy of the 24-year-old Little Mermaid star captured all the action at the Cocomelon-themed party for his PontiacMadeDDG YouTube vlog.
The hour-long vlog reached its climax when all the partygoers headed to the back parking lot of the rented event space while a friend arrived in the Italian luxury sports car, which ranges in price between $250,000 and $500,000.
Once behind the wheel, DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) slyly admitted, “Is this for Halo or for me? Don’t know!’
The Pink Dreads rapper then placed the toddler on his lap and his little hands on the steering wheel while Halle took photos of the moment on her phone.
“Just kidding guys,” DDG said to the camera at one point. “He won’t be allowed to drive again for the next fifteen years!”

One partygoer could be heard scoffing, “You little dog, you don’t even have your driver’s license yet!”
A female guest laughed: “He said, ‘I don’t even know how to spell car!’
Bailey and the Michigan-born YouTuber spared no expense during the family celebrations, which included a costumed character, trolley, ball pit, bouncy castle, slides, balloons and a DJ spinning tunes.
“We were all nervous about throwing him a party, but it turned out perfect, you feel me?” DDG reflected.
“We had fun, Halo had fun, and I know this is something he can look back on and smile, damn it, ‘I can’t believe I was one with a party like this!’
The six-time Grammy nominee fought back tears as he serenaded little Halo with an a cappella rendition of the Happy Birthday song.
“I cried so much yesterday!” Halle – who suffers from ‘severe postpartum’ – admitted on Monday.
‘God gave me the greatest gift in you. Time flies when you’re having fun and mommy just can’t believe you’re one!’
The Handling Business rapper announced on October 3 that he was ending his two-year relationship with Bailey, and she expressed her outrage that he livestreamed their child and disrespected her “boundaries” in a since-deleted X rant.
The Motown Christmas co-host has released three singles – Because I Love You, In Your Hands and Angel – from her upcoming debut studio album, which was supposed to be released ‘before the end’ last year.
