Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky kicked off Pride Month with a big announcement.
The 35-year-old actress, who came out during Pride month four years ago, is now a married woman.
Blonski told it From magazine She married her wife, Hailey Jo Jenson, six months ago.
The couple eloped on October 21, 2023, less than a month after announcing their engagement.
In the interview, Jenson revealed that TikTok played the role of matchmaker in their romance.

Jenson, who goes by them/them, explained that they had been in love with Blonsky since seeing the actress and singer in her breakthrough role in the 2007 musical Hairspray.
“I saw she was live on TikTok one day, and she randomly added people to her TikTok LIVE. And she picked me at random, and I talked to her. And after the phone call, the TikTok LIVE, I slid into her DMs, and ordered a Cameo from her so she would see my name. And so it started from there.”
Cameo is an online site where fans can order personalized messages from their favorite celebrities.
Blonsky said she was immediately attracted to the jewelry designer.
“I remember the first time we did TikTok LIVE, and it clicked on Hailey’s face. And there was something about them and their presence and just their smiles. It was electric,” she explained.
‘And I thought, “Who is this person?” I remember my heart literally stopped beating and breathing.”

Jenson said they had been in love with Blonsky since they saw her in Hairspray in 2007. They met virtually when Blonsky did a TikTok Live and started talking after Jenson slid into the actress’s DMs

The Bosco actress said the deal was more or less done when they finally met in person.
“I remember when Hailey came to visit me in California, and they came to the top of my stairs, and they were carrying their luggage and they turned around and I saw their face right in front of me for the first time, and I said, ‘This is the person who I will definitely marry.”
“I had never wanted to get married before,” the Critics Choice Award winner said. ‘That wasn’t for me. I was very satisfied with my career [and like]“When love comes my way, whatever is, will be.”
“Thank God it was meant to be that way,” she said.
