The outing comes after Hailey was moved to share her daring post with her husband Justin Bieber this week, as she wanted to show the world how she’s feeling amid the ongoing speculation surrounding his previously close relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, sources have revealed.
On Monday evening, the model shared a throwback photo on Instagram of the 30-year-old pop star throwing both middle fingers in the air.
Justin was shirtless and wearing board shorts, as Hailey captioned the playful photo with “mood.”
His former relationship with Diddy has come under increasing scrutiny in recent weeks, with videos of then-15-year-old Justin spending “48 hours with Diddy” emerging, while disturbing allegations against the embattled rap mogul continue to surface.
An insider revealed to DailyMail.com that Hailey – who welcomed her son Jack Blues Bieber in August – shared the post because she feels like a ‘gatekeeper’ for her husband.
“Hailey believes she is Justin’s gatekeeper and this was her way of showing the world how she feels about the whole situation [with Diddy] – not Justin,” the source clarified.
The insider noted that the Rhode Beauty founder’s choice of photo was extremely telling, as they continued, “Out of the hundreds of photos of Justin giving the middle finger, she had to choose one from 2017 that was taken before he got back together.” [his ex Selena Gomez] again.’
However, the source stated that the model might be wise to let her man speak for himself when he feels ready to do so, adding, “Hailey needs to let Justin act for himself instead of using an image of him to convey what she thinks he should say.

It comes after sources previously told DailyMail.com that Justin is indeed struggling with the revelations made about Diddy during the 54-year-old’s arrest on sex trafficking charges.
The insider claimed that the singer feels like he has no one to talk to and is “sailing these waters alone.”
“Justin feels like there’s no one he can talk to who understands, and to be honest, he doesn’t even fully understand,” the source explains. “He was a child.”
The insider added that the fallout has to do with his current struggle to be a good parent, not having had the best example from his own father, Jeremy Bieber.
“Justin is stressed out right now,” the source continued. “He has a son and is trying to be a good father without having anything to indicate what a good father is.”
Speaking about the vulnerable singer’s emotional state, the insider added: ‘He’s navigating these waters alone and everyone is worried that if Hailey shows any effort in becoming a mother for the first time, it will be incredibly difficult for Justin.
“Diddy couldn’t have happened at a worse time, as he tries to experience the joy of fatherhood, with the pain of having to deal with it all.”
All eyes were on Diddy’s associates after he was arrested and jailed in connection with a federal sex trafficking case that has since sent shockwaves through the music industry.
Justin and Hailey announced the birth of their first child on August 23, giving fans a glimpse of the baby’s tiny foot and his wife’s hands.

The Victoria’s Secret model also shared the post on her Instagram Story with the youngster’s name and several emojis.
It was only weeks before Combs was accused of directing female victims and male sex workers to perform drugged, sometimes days-long sexual performances called “Freak Offs.”
According to the indictment, he allegedly used violence, threats and coercion to get the women to interact with male sex workers in the “Freak Offs,” described as “elaborate and produced sex performances” arranged and directed by Combs while he masturbated and often I recorded them.

The indictment further stated that some “Freak Offs” would last for days, requiring Combs and victims to be given IV fluids to recover from the exertion and drug use.
Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and was denied bail, despite his legal team’s request that he be released on $50 million and be electronically monitored.
Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said the “Freak Offs” stemmed from the star’s former on-again-off-again relationship with R&B singer Cassie and were not coercive.
Prosecutors said they have interviewed more than 50 victims and witnesses and expect that number to increase.
Justin was just a kid when he struck up a friendship with Combs, and the singer was last seen on the rapper’s song Moment, which appeared on his 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid.
After the album’s release last October, Justin reflected on his first meeting with Combs.
“I remember going to my brother Diddy’s office to pitch him a song I wrote for him when I was 14,” he wrote on Instagram. “Unfortunately the song was crap haha and it would be a hard no from him.”
He continued, “Fast forward to a few years ago, Puff asked if I wanted to freestyle something for his upcoming love album. Wild full circle moment, I love you @diddy.”
