Hacks season three has been confirmed to return this spring on Max.
The comedy series stars Jean Smart as an aging, iconic Las Vegas comic and Hannah Einbinder as her younger comedy writer.
News of the return was announced on the official Hacks Instagram account on Thursday, but no specific date has been set yet.
Fans were concerned that the show would end after the emotional season two finale, which sees the professional relationship between Smart and Einbinder's characters end.
Smart plays a pioneering comedian named Deborah Vance, who at the start of the show has led a comfortable but uninspiring life as an act in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Einbinder, 27, whose mother Laraine Newman was in the original cast of Saturday Night Live, plays Deborah's protégé Ava.
Ava is an up-and-coming comedy writer who was canceled shortly before the start of season one due to a joke she made on Twitter.
