In response to Claude's accusations, Gypsy simply told the interviewer in the doctor's office that she “didn't want anything to do with him.”

Gypsy discussed her decision to now open up about alleged abuse with People, explaining that she hoped talking about it would prevent him from doing it again with “another family member or child.”

β€œI'm at a point where I can stand on my own two feet and say, this happened to me and I'm not going to let it affect me anymore,” she said.

'And that's why I'm talking about it now. And I think disclosing that it happened might stop him from doing the same thing to another family member, another child, another person, because he's still alive.”

Gypsy said the alleged abuse lasted a year when she was a child, and that she kept it a secret for more than a decade before finally telling her mother, Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, when she was 19.

And according to the now 32-year-old, her mother then shared the shocking revelation that she too had been abused by Claude as a child.

“I told her everything that happened, and she then informed me that he did the same thing to her when she was a child,” she told People.

'It was difficult for both of us to come to grips with the fact that we had both been abused by the same person.

Gypsy spent her childhood posing as a wheelchair-bound invalid after Dee Dee shaved her daughter's head, pumped her full of drugs and convinced the world that she suffered from leukemia and muscular dystrophy.

Their “inseparable” bond ended when Gypsy broke free from her twisted mother's control in 2015 by letting her besotted internet boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn sneak into their Springfield, Missouri, home to stab 48-year-old Dee Dee to death.

Gypsy was jailed for 10 years for her involvement in the murder, but was granted parole in September after friends and family begged authorities to take into account the brutal abuse and unnecessary medical procedures she suffered as she was cynically paraded at charity events and fundraisers.

After eight years behind bars, she was released last Thursday from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri.

After her release, Gypsy immediately reunited with her husband, 37-year-old Ryan Scott Anderson, who won her affection by writing her letters while she was in prison. The couple married in 2022.

β€œRyan, don't listen to the haters. I love you and you love me,” she wrote in a response.

'We don't owe anyone anything. Our family is who matters. If you get likes and good comments, if you get hate, whatever, because THEY DON'T MATTER.'

“I love you… plus they're jealous because you rock my world every night… yes I said it, the D is fire… happy wife, happy life.”
