During the women’s podium training, the 26-year-old flawlessly executed Yurchenko’s double pike jump.
The Yurchenko double pike is said to be the most challenging gymnastic element.
It was performed perfectly twice by Simone during the training sessions.
In 2021, she became the first female athlete to achieve this clear at the GK US Classic.
That’s why Simone signed up to have it named after her at the world championships.
If she performs it without falling into the championships, it will be named Biles II.
During her floor routine, Simone showed off her amazing dancing skills and balance as she performed many backflips.
She spun around the bar and landed perfectly on the beam.

The training clips come after she confirmed she wants to compete in the 2024 Olympics – but admitted she will have to ‘look after herself more’ than in Tokyo and is undergoing therapy to ‘make sure everything is on the same page’ after suffering due to mental health issues that forced her to withdraw from multiple events at the 2020 Games.
The gymnast made a triumphant return to the sport last month after a two-year hiatus.
At 26, she will be the oldest American woman to compete at the world level in more than 50 years after narrowly edging out a victory over silver medalist Shilese Jones in the all-around on the first day of the selection camp in Katy, Texas League.
She is the only American woman in history selected to compete in six world championships, which will be held later this month in Antwerp, Belgium.
The elite gymnast is the oldest American women’s all-around champion in modern history to make a world team since at least 1970, when Doris Fuchs Brause competed in the 1966 World Championships at age 28.
In 2019, she also made history after landing a towering, triple-twisting double tuck during a training session for the competition – a move previously only performed by a man.

Simone pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics (pictured) saying she was ‘a bit bothered’
After her break, she revealed she had her sights set on competing in next summer’s Games in Paris, France, during an appearance on the Today show.
The seven-time Olympic medalist stunned everyone after announcing midway through the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo that she would not compete in four of the five event finals.
At the time, she said she was suffering from something called “the twisties,” a mental block that causes gymnasts to feel like they’re “lost in the sky.”
She later hinted that this also had to do with the sexual abuse she had suffered by pedophile doctor Larry Nassar.
