Simone Biles has given a behind-the-scenes look at her under-construction mega mansion in Texas — after flying back to her home state on a private jet after her first gymnastics competition since the 2020 Olympics.
The 26-year-old gymnast shared a series of Stories on Sunday evening, giving an intimate tour of what will soon be the fully realized forever home of her and footballer Jonathan Owens, 28.
“I visited the house today,” read the caption of a clip that hovered over the grounds, revealing the structure’s wooden frame at the lake.
The property is believed to be located in the Houston area where Biles spent her childhood.

An upstairs peak revealed an expansive space that, Simone revealed, will house a wet bar, game room, theater and more
She also shared a glimpse of the second floor balcony, which has a beautiful view of an unidentified body of water
Next to a photo of a bare staircase leading up to the second floor of the house, Simone enthused, “We have stairs OMG.”
She elaborated in text a clip showing the upstairs she had just “walked upstairs” on for the first time, adding that the space would eventually include a bedroom, playroom-slash-wet bar, theater, and bathroom .
Of the breathtaking view of the waterfront from what will be a covered balcony on the second floor of the residence, she said, “This view will never get old, especially when the sun goes down.”
It is unclear on which body of water the vast, tree-lined site is located.
In March, Simone stated via her Instagram that construction on the site had begun, writing alongside a photo of her and Jonathan snuggling up on the then-empty lot: “a house has been made with love and dreams… cheers for it breaking the ground.’
A month later, the lovebirds tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Texas in front of friends and family.
They were engaged on Valentine’s Day of 2022.
According to an interview Simone gave to the Wall Street Journal, the two had interacted via social media shortly before the pandemic.

Simone won the all-around, floor exercise and beam at a gymnastics competition in Chicago on Saturday, marking the triumphant return of the seven-time Olympic medalist to her sport
The gymnast flew in on a private jet from Chicago on Sunday — and immediately rushed to check in at her new property
“He would say I slipped into his DMs,” she told the paper. “I saw him and I thought, ‘Oh, he’s kind of cute,’ so I said hello. And then I saw he was near Houston, so we started chatting a little bit, and a week or two later we started hanging out.”

The peak at the site of their new home comes in the wake of a victorious weekend for the star gymnast, who had made a triumphant return to the sport in Chicago on Saturday.
There, competing in the Core Hydration Classic, the seven-time Olympic medalist nearly won the backboard and placed first in the all-around, floor exercise, and beam categories.
The last time she competed was at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, before which she had to withdraw due to a case of ‘twisties’.

Turner Aleah Finnegan explained what it’s like to have the ‘twisties’ in one tweet from 2021, following the announcement of Simone’s withdrawal: ‘You have absolutely no control over your body and what it does. And the more you worry about it, the worse it gets…
“You have no control over yourself and what your body is going to do next, literally putting your life on the line.
“It’s hard to explain this to someone who doesn’t do gymnastics, but please know that this was the best thing for the safety of these athletes, both physically and mentally.”
As Simone said in a separate Instagram story last weekend, “I watched myself go from being the happiest and most outgoing person to fighting every day to heal. So yes, this comeback is personal.’
