Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother, actress Blythe Danner, 80, was spotted at her daughter’s GOOP store in New York City on Friday.
The Meet the Parents actress was dressed casually in well-fitting jeans and a long black coat that she wore open over a green t-shirt.
The grandmother of Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, added a cream fedora hat with a black band, a colorful floral print scarf in purple, blue, green, white, orange and red, white trainers and a large red tote bag to her look.
The Meet the Fockers star bought some items from the popular boutique, but it is unknown whether or not she got a family discount.
The Emmy winner’s rare sighting comes months after she shared that she feels lucky to be alive after battling the same cancer that killed her late husband and Gwyneth’s father, Bruce Paltrow, in 2002.

The Tony winner battled oral cancer for years, the same disease that killed her husband, director Bruce Paltrow, some 20 years ago.
The Emmy-winning actress told People in 2018, she was diagnosed with a rare form of the disease, adenoid cystic carcinoma, which often forms in the salivary glands.
According to the Oral Cancer Foundation, an estimated 54,000 people are diagnosed with oral cancer each year.
“Everyone is affected by cancer in one way or another, but it’s unusual for a couple to have the same cancer,” said the Will and Grace actress.
She and the director of Duets were marred for 33 years.
Blythe was working in London when she went for a checkup. “I started to feel really dizzy and I forgot everything, and then I felt a lump in my neck, right next to where Bruce put his [in 1999].
“I remember looking up to the sky and saying to Bruce, ‘Are you lonely up there?’
The American Gods actress initially told no one, including her children, Oscar winner Paltrow, 50, and director Jake Paltrow, 47, about her diagnosis.

When the Butterflies Are Free actress finally broke the news to her family, it came as a shock.
“It was scary,” Gwyneth admitted. And it felt really creepy because it was so similar [to my dad’s].’
Blythe underwent two surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy and alternative treatments to battle the disease.

A third surgery in 2020 removed the remaining cancerous tissue.
“She went through it with such grace,” recalls Gwyneth. “I was amazed at how strong she could be.”
And she’s been in remission for the past few years, saying, “I think we’ve all gotten stronger in one way or another. It’s a bit of a mess – this disease and this life. But I’ve had a career, great kids, and a loving husband. I am very grateful.’
Blythe has continued to raise awareness of oral cancer, something she has been doing since her husband’s death in 2002.
You never get over a loss like that. Bruce was the heart of our family. And life is so much paler without him around. But sadness is the price we pay for love.”
