Gwyneth Paltrow’s followers are HORRIFIED that she uses farmed salmon in her GOOP ‘detox’ salad while being raked over the coals for her cooking skills.

Gwyneth Paltrow was in the kitchen in a new post she shared with her GOOP Instagram Page on Wednesday.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress was making a salmon salad that she said was a “detox reset” meal that she discussed on her GOOP site.

Although it seemed like the cookbook author knew what she was doing in the kitchen, she was torn apart by some of her followers for various reasons. Some were upset that she was using farmed salmon, others were upset that she wasn’t using all of her asparagus stalks, and then there was one person who didn’t like that she used the word “detox.”

Another follower didn’t like Paltrow’s use of the word ‘detox’.

‘So, for example, people go to “detox” to get sober/clean from alcohol and drugs because they are poison. Your organs detoxify you every day. What foods are poisonous enough to detox? Eliminating certain foods from the diet is not the same as going through a detox,’ he asserted.

The salad was basically salmon on a bed of greens – carbs weren’t invited to this feast.

The vegetables consisted of grilled asparagus, green onions, and squash cooked on the spit, but he said you could use whatever you had in the fridge.

When he cut the asparagus, he didn’t use the entire stem, which made some supporters unhappy saying it was “waste”.

Next, he grilled two pieces of salmon brushed with olive oil, and when he was done, he placed the fish on a bed of romaine lettuce.
