Gwyneth Paltrow spawns slew of internet gags as she wins $300,000 lawsuit

Gwyneth Paltrow’s court victory in Park City on Thursday has already spawned a number of online memes related to her specific lifestyle.

A meme posted by an account called vodkalana mocked Paltrow’s recent revelation that she mostly drinks just a little bit of bone broth for lunch.

‘Someone is celebrating with TWO cups of bone broth tonight!’ he wrote the account above a photo of Paltrow laughing on the witness stand.

Another account called Americana Memes posted a photo of the Brentwood Country Mart, where the GOOP store is located in Los Angeles, wrote:

“White Smoke has been launched at the Brentwood Country Mart (where the Goop store is) to indicate that Gwyneth won her ski bag.”

One meme creator joked that Donald Trump had called Gwyneth for advice as the former president faces his own impending legal battle.

One compared Gwyneth’s win in court to her 1999 Best Actress Oscar win for Shakespeare in Love.

Another scoffed at the token damages Gwyneth asked to receive if she won her case, and a judge agreed to the amount.

A third meme reads, “Gwyneth Paltrow on the ski slopes this winter,” followed by two photos of Lady Gaga in Patrizia Gucci, smugly sipping an espresso in a ski suit from the House of Gucci movie.

Patrizia infamously had her ex-husband murdered.

One meme creator was particularly topical and shared a meme showing Donald Trump apparently calling out to the actress.

The former president discovered Thursday that he is being arraigned on fraud charges and will be arraigned in Manhattan next week.

Earlier today, Gwyneth Paltrow won the ski accident case against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, who claimed she caused the collision in 2016 that left him with lasting brain damage.

Jurors determined that Sanderson, 76, was at fault for the accident at the luxurious Utah ski resort seven years ago. It took the jury just two hours and 20 minutes to reach their verdict on Thursday.

Paltrow’s expression of attention softened and she looked at her lawyers with a faint smile as the judge read the verdict in the Park City courtroom.

As Paltrow was leaving court, she touched Sanderson’s shoulder and said, “I wish you the best,” she told reporters outside the courthouse.

He replied: ‘Thank you dear.’

Their representatives issued a statement.

Meanwhile, a deflated Sanderson said he stands by his version of events, despite losing the case.

When asked what he plans to do next, he quipped, “Maybe Disneyland!”

Speaking outside court, Sanderson’s attorney, Kristin Van Orman, said she was not impressed by Paltrow, adding: “I’ve been a lawyer for 30 years and juries never surprise me.”

Of Sanderson, she added: “He’s in pain, he’s a very nice man.”

The dismissal concludes two weeks of court proceedings that relied heavily on reputation rather than the money damages at stake in the case.

Paltrow’s lawyers described the complaint against her as “absolute nonsense” and described the Goop founder and CEO as uniquely vulnerable to unfair and frivolous lawsuits because of her celebrity.

Paltrow’s victory and subsequent memes would have to compete with the news that former President Donald Trump was indicted Thursday afternoon by the Manhattan district attorney.
