Gwyneth Paltrow shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her best friend, Cameron Diaz, on Wednesday.
The founder of Goop shared a sweet smiling selfie with the Charlie’s Angels star on Instagram in honor of her 51st birthday, calling her longtime friend “my ride or die.”
“Happy birthday,” said the 50-year-old Sliding Doors actress, who showed off her makeup-free complexion and natural gray roots earlier this week when she was out with her family.
In the photo, the two friends could be seen beaming as they posed cheek to cheek against a vast, scenic landscape in the background.
The duo also looked like sisters as they wore nearly identical blonde haircuts and wide smiles.

In the sweet selfie, Paltrow wore a navy blue turtleneck, while Diaz wore a casual long-sleeved top.
Over the years, the best friends have shared many great birthday tributes for each other.
In 2017, she had shared another sweet selfie with Diaz and gushed over her during her birthday tribute.
“Happy birthday @camerondiaz,” she had written. ‘Your wisdom, humour, loyalty, cooking skills, laughter and ice cubes in rose guide me through my life.
“I adore you with all my heart,” she continued before clarifying that they were indeed “wearing bibs in this photo.”
Last year, she shared a photo with Diaz, their good friend and the former co-star of Charlie’s Angels alumna, Drew Barrymore.
Before the day is over, I wish you a happy birthday,” Paltrow had provoked. “I hit rock bottom with gratitude to be one of the women who calls you a best friend.”
Previously, Diaz even helped Paltrow plan her wedding to Brad Falchuk and attended the private ceremony in the Hamptons in 2018 with her husband, Benji Madden.

In 2012, Diaz revealed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK that the couple “became really close” after her father, Emilio Diaz, passed away in 2008.
“She got in touch after my dad died,” she told the magazine E! News.
Diaz explained that Paltrow was a supportive friend, as she understood, and that she had lost her own father, Bruce Paltrow, in 2002.
“It was very sweet,” she continued. “We bonded with that.”
