Gwyneth Paltrow shares rare photo with kids Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, as she admits to worrying about them being a part of the ‘anxious generation’
Gwyneth Paltrow shared an adorable family photo with her two children Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, during an Instagram Q&A for her 8.6 million followers on Friday.
After a fan asked her to share her last snapshot with her youngest child, the 51-year-old Oscar winner uploaded a stunning photo of herself standing among her two children, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, on a deserted country road.
The photo shows her daughter, who resembles her, posing with one hand on her hip and the other wrapped lovingly around her mother’s shoulders.
Apple, who is 5ft 8in (1.73m) tall, looked statuesque next to her mother, who smiled softly at the camera while wearing a red and white checked dress.
Her brother looked every bit the younger version of their rock dad, in a maroon polo shirt and brown pants as he stood next to Paltrow.

Paltrow looked elegant in a blue shirt, which she left partially open, and white flared trousers.
Later during her Q&A series, she was asked what trait she likes most and what she worries about most in her children.
“I think my children know themselves very well and that’s a quality of theirs that I love and admire,” she said in a video.
The Shakespeare in Love star continued: “And I think I worry about anxiety for both of them. This is, as we know, the anxious generation. So that’s probably what I worry about.”
In May, Moses, who will attend Brown University in the fall, graduated from high school.
She, Martin, 47, and the former couple’s eldest child, Apple, 20, were all on hand to watch him receive his diploma.
Paltrow and the Coldplay frontman married in 2003 and split in 2014. The Shakespeare in Love actress herself described it as a “conscious split.”
Since then, they’ve both found love elsewhere – Gwyneth in her marriage to Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, and Chris in his marriage to Fifty Shades Of Grey star Dakota Johnson.
Later in her Q&A series, she was asked what quality she values most and what she worries about most in her children.

Yet, despite their years of separation, Chris and Gwyneth have remained friendly co-parents to their two children.
In April, Gwyneth admitted that she was becoming increasingly anxious about the prospect of her children leaving home.
Moses, her youngest child, is leaving for Brown University in Rhode Island, a city on the other side of the country from what Gwyneth calls her “forever home” of Montecito.
“I’m having a nervous breakdown, if I’m being honest,” she confessed at an event for her wellness brand Goop, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I thought, ‘Oh my God, I have to quit my job, sell my house and move.’ It just created chaos,” she said.
“My identity is being a mother. Apple is turning 20 in May. So I have my whole life built around them and their schedules and when school starts.”
She explained, “You start by gradually letting go when they’re driving themselves around or doing certain things. It’s a slower process.”
The Shakespeare in Love star continued: “And I think I worry about anxiety for both of them. This is, as we know, the anxious generation. So that’s probably what I worry about.”
Moses, her youngest child, is leaving for Brown University in Rhode Island, across the country from what Gwyneth calls her “forever home” in Montecito.
Gwyneth added: ‘I feel really lucky because I have a close-knit group of mums and we’ve all raised our kids together. So we’re kind of in this together.’
When she and Chris split in 2014, it was met with much scorn, with her calling their split a “conscious uncoupling.”
In recent years, however, the exes have received praise for the harmonious way they have raised their children, despite their divorce.
Gwyneth recently shared how important it was for her and Chris to have an amicable co-parenting relationship, for the sake of Apple and Moses.
She explained that she and Chris “both really didn’t want the divorce to be traumatic,” in an interview with Rush.

Gwyneth added: ‘I feel really lucky because I have a close-knit group of mothers and we’ve all raised our children together’
“We knew it would be difficult, of course, but we didn’t want them to feel like they were in the middle, or that one of us was putting the other down.”
The wellness mogul said, “When I knew I wanted a divorce, I did something very personal. I started collecting data by talking to adults who came from broken homes.”
She revealed: ‘Every single one of them said, ‘I didn’t care that my parents were divorced. That wasn’t it. But the fact that they wouldn’t talk to each other, that they couldn’t both be at the table for my birthday…’
“They said that was the worst. You could see them holding it with so much pain and anger. I thought, ‘I’m never going to do that.’ And we really didn’t.”
